I’m a philosopher. Formerly Guidepost Montessori and its several sister institutions, which I helped found. Currently Montessorium, where I am principal, and the broader Alpha School universe.

I believe that:

• Education is a primitive, ossified field that the Enlightenment never reached.
• Good education is onboarding to civilization.
• To progress, education needs (a) real examples of better models
• and (b) a new Republic of Letters about education.
